Welcome Party At Deep Creek Lake

During the summer of 2001Railey Mtn. Lake Vacations held the
first Welcome Party for visitors to Deep Creek Lake, Maryland.
The parties were so successful and well attended that Railey
Mtn. Lake Vacations is doing them again this summer with one
not so small excep-tion. Last year the parties were closed to
Railey Mtn. Lake Vacations renters only. This year they are
open to all visitors to the lake.
This is a great opportunity for people who have been coming
to the lake for years, as well as new visitors, to see all the
activities in one location and especially to be able to talk
one on one with the activity guides and vendors.
The Welcome Party offers an opportunity for vendors and guides
participating in the DNR Nature Tourism Program to present an
array of activities they provide. Through them you can experience
the little known adventures and hidden beauty of Deep Creek
Lake. Visitors can sign up at the party with the vendors for
hikes, ATV tours, fly fishing, boating, whitewater adventures,
photography and other day activities.
The Welcome Parties offer light refreshments and are held once
a week on Mondays, beginning June 17, 2002 from 4:00 to 5:30
p.m. with the location to be announced. Win fabulous giveaways,
sign up for fun activities and learn why everyone keeps coming
back to Deep Creek Lake. Remember this is open to all visitors
to the Lake ...see you there. |
